One person was killed early Monday morning in an accident on I-75.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 26-year-old Tampa woman was heading west on the highway when she hit another vehicle near mile marker 42.
Authorities say the Tampa woman’s vehicle veered off the road to the left and ended in the grassy median injuring her in the crash and killing an 18-year-old passenger.
The other vehicle veered off to the right and ended up on the shoulder. The 16-year-old driver was also injured.
Emergency services airlifted the two drivers to Broward Health Medical Center.
