Teen Injured In Car Accident On NW 22nd Ave. In Miami-Dade

A car accident on Northwest 22nd Avenue and 96th Street led to a teen sustaining injuries.

The car accident occurred when the driver of a Ford Fusion collided with a Honda Civic, said police.

The driver and teenage passenger in the Honda were injured as a result of the collision.  They were both transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Ford Fusion sustained minor injuries.

Traffic was backed up in the area, but all lanes have since reopened and normal activities have resumed.

Police are still investigating the accident.  The identities of the parties involved have not been released to the public at this time.
