SUV Rear-Ended A Car On Dolphin Expressway; Two Severely Injured

According to the police, a 39-year-old man sustained severe injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Dolphin Expressway.

Report says the victim was eastbound on Dolphin Expressway in a 2010 Chevrolet 3500 when the accident occurred. The spokesperson for the police said, he drove past a 2012 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 44-year-old man. The Jeep rear-ended the Chevy, which made the Chevy veer off over the left side of the roadway. Then, the Chevy reportedly rolled over after hitting the roadside guardrail.

It was reported that the Chevrolet driver and his 25-year-old female passenger were severely injured as a result of the accident. The Wrangler driver and his passenger were not injured in the accident.

EMS arrived promptly at the site of the crash to rescue the occupants of the Chevy, authorities said. Paramedics transported them to a nearby hospital.

The accident is currently under investigation by the police department.
