Southwest 17th Avenue Accident; Five Hospitalized

According to the report, three people were taken to a trauma center and two to a hospital after a car crash into a streetlight on Southwest 17th Avenue.

This accident happened on Southwest 17th Avenue, authorities said. A Lexus ES300 driven by a 48-year-old man reportedly struck a streetlight after he had lost control of the car.

This incidence happened when the Lexus driver attempt to avoid a bad portion on the road. Police also reported that the car was moving at the high rate of speed when this accident occurred. He then lost control of the car and struck against the streetlight on the side of the road and rolled over.

Report says EMS crew arrived at the site of the crash few moments of the crash happened to rescue the victims involved. There were five occupants in the car including a 19-year-old female teenager.

Authorities said two people were reportedly in a critical condition and are presently unconscious. Police further said that there were three females and two males in the car at the time of the crash.

All the occupants of the car were injured and has been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Report says the accident is still under investigation and no further detail has been made public.
