South Miami Avenue Bicycle-Vehicle Crash Left Two Bicyclists Injured

It was reported by law enforcement officials that a crash on South Miami Avenue left two bicyclists injured.

Authorities said the crash happened on South Miami Avenue when a vehicle struck two bicyclists. Rescue crews responded to the crash.

The report says officials identified the two cyclists injured in the crash as reports earlier stated. Emergency responders arrived on the scene to tend to the victims. Subsequently, they transported one of the victims to a nearby hospital.

The other bicyclist’s injuries were not severe. He chose not to go to the hospital and was treated at the scene. The driver remained at the scene of the crash.

Authorities will reportedly provide more information once the investigation is complete. Police have not released the identity of the driver. Similarly, officials have yet to release any additional details.
