According to the police, emergency responders found one commuter unconscious and two more in critical condition after a 6-vehicle crash on Interstate 75.
The report says investigators are still trying to piece together what happened. One car burst into flames after being struck during the massive accident on Interstate 75. Firefighters managed to put out the fire. Police still have to check the integrity of the road, the report added.
It was reported that paramedics transported seven people to nearby hospitals. Four individuals were reportedly in critical condition. Authorities have yet to release the victims’ identities as well as the makes and models of the cars involved. Two of the vehicles were commercial vehicles. Paramedics found one person unconscious.
Road crews arrived at the scene and began clearing away cars, authorities said.
The investigation into the accident is still ongoing. Police have yet to release any additional details or information regarding the crash.
