According to the report, six people involved in a rollover accident at Croissant Park have been rushed to the hospital by rescue crews.
Report indicated that an SUV failed to stop at the red sign in the area of Southwest 17th Street and 4th Avenue at Croissant Park. All the victims were reportedly recovering from their injuries; none of the injuries were life-threatening. However, one of the victims suffered a broken leg.
Fort Lauderdale Police and several rescue unit officers were seen on the scene of the two-vehicle crash, report says. According to the officials, a black SUV and a white sedan collided and left three victims stuck in the vehicles. A spokesman for the rescue unit said there was need to extricate victims from the vehicles.
Report says there were two people riding the white sedan and at least three in the SUV. One victim was found injured and lying in the grass nearby, but it remains unknown whether that person was ejected from a vehicle or was a pedestrian who was struck.
Officers shut down both directions of Southwest 4th Avenue as they underwent investigation. The roadway later reopened.

Marc Anidjar, from the Law Firm of Anidjar and Levine, comments on this crash. “Accidents where drivers fail to stop at the red sign can be shocking and destructive, leading to several casualties, even death. Fortunately in this accident at Croissant Park, death was not recorded whereas six people were hospitalized. When you are harmed by a negligent driver in a vehicle crash, it is important to contact a lawyer who has an expert experience in handling motor vehicle accident cases.”
