Fort Lauderdale Police Department is investigating a four-car accident on Northwest 23rd Avenue where six people were hospitalized.
According to the police, the crash happened on Northwest 23rd Avenue. Fort Lauderdale Police Department Spokesman reported the incidence to the news media. A car was making a turn on Northwest 23rd Avenue when another car coming from the opposite direction crashed into it. It was reported that a BMW and a Ford Focus were involved in this accident.
Police said that the 49-year-old man driving the Ford was stuck inside his car and sustained severe injuries. There were two other passengers in his car that also suffered trauma. Two men and a woman in the BMW were critically injured. All six victims were transported to a nearby hospital.
There is traffic delay along this route. Drivers are advised to take and alternate route.
No other information has been made available to the public. Police are still investigating.
