According to the crash report, a multi-vehicle crash with several injuries has shut down a portion of U.S. 1 just south of FL-9 Road at Spring Park.
The Florida Highway Patrol and Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reportedly responded to the crash shortly after it happened.
It was reported that there were casualties as a result of the multi-vehicle crash in Jacksonville, but the count of the victims involved and victims injured has not been reported. The details of the crash incidence have not yet been made available to the public.
Report says all the lanes of U.S. Route 1 at Spring Park were blocked at Beliar Road South due to the extent of the accident. However, the southbound lanes, has reported, have since reopened. Meanwhile, the northbound side will likely be closed for a period of time.
Authorities strongly advised motorists to avoid the area, if possible, and to use alternate routes.
