Report says six people involved in a rollover accident in Northwest Miami-Dade was rushed to the hospital by the emergency crews.
This accident reportedly happened after a SUV failed to stop at the red light in the area of Northwest 22nd Avenue and 90th Street. It was also reported that all the victims were recovering from their injuries. None of the injuries were life-threatening, however, one of the victims suffered a broken leg.
Miami-Dade Police and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue were seen on the scene of the two-vehicle crash, report says. According to the officials, a black SUV and a white sedan collided and left three victims stuck in the vehicles. Chief Danny Cardeso of the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Battalion said there was need to extricate victims from the vehicles.
It was reported that there were two people riding the white sedan and at least three in the SUV. One victims was found injured and lying in the grass nearby, but it remains unknown whether that person was ejected from a vehicle or if a was pedestrian was struck.
Officers shut down both directions of Northwest 22nd Avenue as they investigated. The roadway later reopened.
