According to the Florida Highway Patrol a person has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after being deliberately hit, while driving, by a vehicle in a road rage incident.
Florida Highway Patrol Lt. Alvaro Feola stated that the incident occurred on the exit ramp from southbound Interstate 95 to Copans Road. In a preliminary investigation it was revealed that the victim was deliberately hit by another vehicle but the reason for the attack is still unknown.
The victim hit by the aggressor in the road rage incident was taken to North Broward Medical Center and is currently recovering from multiple severe injuries.
The southbound and northbound ramps to Copans Road from I-95 were closed during the investigation process.
The name of the victim and the person who was in the vehicle are yet to be released by the authorities.
Charges were yet to be filed at the time of filing this report and authorities are investigating the incident.
