Miami police reported that seven people sustained injuries in an accident involving two vehicles northbound on Main Highway.
It was reported that three women and four men were involved in the accident. The Miami police spokesman said, the accident happened between a silver 2011 Honda Pilot and a Lincoln Navigator. The crash occurred on Main Highway in Miami.
EMS arrived at the site of the crash to attend to the victims within minutes after the accident happened. One of the men was reported to have a fractured hip. Others also suffered severe injuries to the head, neck and back.
The driver of the Lincoln was reported to be in a critical condition when the crew arrived. According to the EMS crew, three of the injuries were reported to be life-threatening.
The names of the victims have been withdrawn while the authorities confirm their identity. They have all been transported to a local hospital for medical care.
No further details have been released to the press as at time of reporting this story.
The accident is under investigation.
