A Man is Dead After a Hit-and-Run that Occurred After 2 a.m.
Florida Highway Patrol said he was walking westbound on SR-16 at Old Town Parkway when he was struck by a vehicle.
According to police, the pedestrian was possibly struck by a white Ford F150 pickup. The driver fled after hitting the pedestrian, an FHP accident report states.
Authorities said the 47-year-old St. Augustine man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are looking for what they believe to be a white 2013 Ford F150 with a sunroof with a missing front left headlight and damage to the left front end.
