A Man is Dead After He was Struck by an 18-wheeler on I-95 on the Fuller Warren Bridge.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash happened at about 1:40 p.m. when the 18-wheeler was traveling north on I-95 heading toward Park Street and the pedestrian ran into the outside lane as the truck approached.
The truck hit the unidentified man who died from his injuries.
The truck driver was not injured in the crash.
The road was closed for several minutes as crews worked the clear the area. It has since reopened.
