According to the report of a fiery accident on Pulaski Road, a pedestrian has been left in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle.
Officers said, the pedestrian was left with critical injuries after the accident. The incident happened on Pulaski Road southbound in Jacksonville.
Officials have yet to give a full detailed report of the accident as no information was provided to the press, however, officials said the victim was flown to a trauma center by a helicopter. The victim was said to be in bad condition when he arrived the center.
No information about the driver that struck the pedestrian has been released to the public.
The road was closed after the fiery accident for road crews to clear the area. It was later reopened.
The accident is still under investigation.
