A 22-Year-Old Pedestrian is Dead After Being Hit by an SUV in Naples.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, troopers said the crash happened at around 3:50 a.m. on Logan Boulevard South and Tallwood Way.
A 35-year-old Bonita Springs man was driving an SUV south on Logan Boulevard in the right lane while the 22-year-old Golden Gate man was trying to cross the street.
FHP said the pedestrian walked into the path of the SUV and was hit. Emergency services took the pedestrian to Lee Memorial Hospital where he later died, troopers confirmed.
The crash remains under investigation.
