It was reported that rescue crews have airlifted one person to the hospital after they were involved in a rollover crash in Northwest Miami-Dade.
According to the report statement, Miami-Dade Police and Fire Rescue units responded to the scene of the three-vehicle accident. This accident happened along Northwest 103rd Street and 17th Avenue.
According to the report given by the press and confirmed by the authority, a car overturned and crashed into a light pole causing it to lean over the road.
One of the victims of the accident was an adult woman who had to be extricated from one of the vehicles, official said. The woman was then airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
Other occupants of the vehicles involved also reportedly sustained injuries, however, the extent of their injuries is unknown.
Due to the accident, there was a power outage in the area. Florida Power & Light responded to restore electricity to the area.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
