One Killed After Car Hits US Route 17 Streetlight: One Hospitalized

According to the crash report, one person was killed, and another was taken to the hospital after their involvement in a car Accident on US Route 17.

Report also says Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of the wreck on US Route 17.

From the report received from the Officials, the driver hit a curb on the side of the road, then slammed into a streetlight.

The passenger of the car, who is yet to be identified by the authorities, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Paramedics rushed the driver to an area hospital as a trauma alert.

The details of the accident and the identity of the victims has not been made public yet by the authorities. Also, the condition of the driver is currently unknown.

Meanwhile, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
