Authorities report at least one person was injured in a police involved crash at Northwest Second Avenue and 75th Street in Miami.

According to the news release by the Miami Police, a female officer was responding to an emergency call. The vehicle she was driving crashed into another car at Northwest Second Avenue and 75th Street.

Authorities confirm that a person in the other car was taken to the hospital for treatment for moderate injuries. The medical condition of the victim was unknown at the time of this report. The extent of the officer’s injuries remains unknown.

Officials have not released the names of the injured victim nor the officer involved in the accident.

No further details were immediately released by the Authorities.  An investigation is still ongoing.
