At least one person was killed in a crash on SR-29 and Oil Well Road on Monday morning, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
An FHP report stated that the crash which involved two vehicles occurred around 6:30 a.m. Authorities said one driver died, one passenger is in critical condition and the other driver suffered serious injuries.
The crash led to the closure of State Road 29 two miles north of Oil Well Road for several hours but it has since reopened.
Officials did not reveal what led to the crash but said the incident remains under investigation.
