On Heckscher Drive, A Single-Car Accident Led To Five Occupants Injured

According to the officials, two teenagers sustained injuries along with three other people when a Mini Cooper crashed on Heckscher Drive.

The report says the 19-year-old male driver lost control of the 2003 Mini Cooper on Heckscher Drive. The collision occurred when the teen attempted a turn onto the driveway. Police said the car veered off the left side of the road where it hit a post and overturned.

The driver sustained minor injuries and was released at the scene. An 18-year-old male passenger sustained moderate injuries. Paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital.

Three other people sustained varying degrees of injuries in the crash: a 20-year-old female, a 21-year-old female, and a 22-year-old male. The two teenagers were wearing seat belts, but the other two were not. It is unknown at the time of reporting this incident if the fifth individual was wearing a seat belt.

Police are investigating the accident.
