According to Florida Highway Patrol, one person has died and two others are seriously injured following a crash in Clay County.

The crash happened at Henley Road and Lake Asbury Drive in Clay County. According to Florida Highway Patrol, three cars were involved in the crash.

It was reported by Florida Highway Patrol, that a Nissan was traveling northbound on Henley Road at Lake Asbury Drive when it lost control for some unknown reason. Consequently, the driver of that Nissan was dead due to the impact of the crash.

Report says the Nissan sideswiped a Ford Explorer after it lost control. Meanwhile, based on the report from FHP, none of the occupants of the Ford Explorer sustained injuries.

According to FHP, a third car, another Nissan with two occupants, was hit and both occupants have serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The road was opened to motorist few hours after the crash incidence.
