North Lauderdale Beach Boulevard Accident; Three People Injured

Fort Lauderdale Police reported that North Lauderdale Beach Boulevard was closed for hours while police cleared wreckage after a four-car accident that led to casualties.

Report says four vehicles crashed near the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. This made Fort Lauderdale Police officers to shut down the way road or a couple of hours.

Witnesses said at least three people were injured in the crash. The accident reported happened when a car sideswiped another car causing a chain reaction crash. This chain reaction accident involved a Camero, a Corolla, an Elantra and a red pickup.

No information on the condition of those injured in the crash or the names of the people involved. Likewise, what caused the car that began the chain reaction crash to sideswipe another car has not yet been confirmed by the authorities.

Report says the road reopened after causing quite a traffic backup on North Lauderdale Beach Boulevard.
