According to law enforcement officials, a woman and two others were severely injured in a head-on accident that stopped traffic on North Flagler Drive.
A spokesman for the police said the accident involved two vehicles, a Nissan SUV, driven by a 41-year-old female, and a Ford pickup truck. The vehicles collided on North Flagler Drive, near The Wander Shop. Authorities did not give an official statement saying how the accident happened and are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
The report says EMS arrived at the scene of the accident soon after it happened to administer first aid to the injured victims. Emergency crews reported that the woman in the Nissan was found unconscious. She was wearing her seat-belt when the accident happened.
The woman in the Nissan, and the driver and passenger in the Ford Pickup truck, were all transported to the hospital by ambulance with life-threatening injuries.
Officials say the incident is still under investigation and no further details were released.
