Multiple Vehicle Crash On Southwest 4th Avenue; Three Drivers Injured

The report says a multi-vehicle accident on Southwest 4th Avenue left three people injured after a Toyota crashed into an SUV.

Authorities said the crash happened when the 24-year-old female driver of a Toyota Corolla was traveling on Southwest 4th Avenue where she was involved in two different accidents.

The Toyota collided with the driver of an SUV at the intersection of Southwest 26th Street. Both drivers escaped injuries in the collision. After the crash, both drivers were standing by the two vehicles as they were checking the extent of the damage. A third car crashed into them causing injuries to all three drivers.

EMS arrived at the scene of the accident soon after it happened to administer first aid to the injured victims. Emergency crews reported that the first two drivers who were hit by the third car sustained life-threatening injuries.

The third driver sustained only minor injuries. EMS reportedly transported all of the injured people to the nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Officials say the incident is still under investigation and no further details were released.
