A 22-year-old man died when he crashed his motorcycle into the rear of a stopped school bus on Northwest 29th Street.
As reported by Florida Highway Patrol, he slammed his motorcycle into a school bus that was dropping off students. FHP reported Pedro was traveling west on Northwest 29th Street on a 2008 Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle when he struck the left rear of a school bus.
Report says the bus was stopped facing west on Northwest 29th Street unloading student passengers with its lights activated. The rider was knocked from the motorcycle which then ran west and struck a pickup. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
None of the 20 to 25 student passengers on school bus at the time of the crash, nor the driver, were injured. The driver and a passenger in the third vehicle were not injured as well.
Police is investigating the actual cause of the crash.
