According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 59-year-old man from Miami was killed over the weekend when he lost control of his motorcycle along Southwest 8th Street and drove into oncoming traffic.
It was reported that the 59-year-old motorcyclist crashed into a truck, leading to a second collision between that truck and another truck on Southwest 8th Street. According to the troopers, one of the trucks jackknifed and both caught fire.
Report says, the driver of one of the trucks was taken to Kendall Regional Hospital with critical injuries. The driver of the truck hospitalized was identified as 54-year-old Adalberto Roque of Miami.
Florida Highway Patrol further reported that the motorcycle slid across the highway and collided with a Chevrolet Camaro.
It was reported that Florida Highway Patrol had not release the name of the motorcyclist who was killed pending notification of the next of kin. Alcohol was not a factor in the accident, according to troopers.
Glen Levine, from the Law Firm of Anidjar and Levine, comments on this crash. “Unfortunately motorcycle accidents are often more deadly than automobile crashes. After an accident, victims and/or their families may not know where to turn. Although nothing can undo a terrible tragedy like this, an experienced accident attorney can help you fight to get the compensation you deserve.”
