Motorcyclist Injured In A Northwest 7th Street Accident

Miami Rescue Department said a 46-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries in a motorcycle accident on Northwest 7th Street.

Report says the victim was riding on Northwest 7th Street near McDonald’s when the accident happened. She rode a motorcycle and was traveling so fast beyond speed limits, Miami Police Department spokesman said.

While making a turn, she failed to maintain control of the motorcycle and ran off the right side of the roadway. In this process, she struck a wrongly parked disabled black 2014 Toyota Rav4 at a low rate of speed. She was knocked off from the motorcycle and sustained moderate injuries, MPD said.

The Toyota Rav4 was said to have broken down and pull onto the shoulder of the road few minutes earlier and was waiting to be towed. The motorcycle rider was therefore transported to the nearest Hospital by EMS ambulance.

MPD is investigating the accident and promised to make the details of the accident report public soon.
