Motorcyclist Critically Injured In Head-On Collision On Main Highway

A motorcycle rider was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after colliding with a car on Main Highway, the report says.

The driver of the motorcycle was reportedly transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The car was driving north on Main Highway when it crashed head-on into a southbound motorcycle, deputies said. It is not known if the car had a mechanical fault or it was a result of the driver’s action.

According to the report, both the driver of the car and the motorcyclist were taken to an area hospital, however, the driver’s injuries were not life-threatening.

Miami Police department officers have reportedly closed Main Highway at Royal Road while police investigate the accident.
