One person was found unconscious after a motorcycle collided with the front-end of a passenger vehicle on Tamiami Trail, police reported.
According to Miami authorities, this accident happened on Tamiami Trail near El Atlacatl. A motorcycle, traveling west on Tamiami Trail, lost control and sideswiped the front end of a two-door Toyota Solara. Report says this accident happened when the 34-year-old driver of the Toyota pulled onto Tamiami Trail.
It was reported that the 26-year-old driver of the motorcycle was not wearing a helmet when the accident occurred. He was rushed to the nearest hospital for quick medical evaluation and treatment.
The woman driving the Toyota was also transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life threatening. It was also reported that she was possibly traumatized by the accident.
The crash remains under investigation by Miami Police.
