Officials report a truck involved crash which has sent a young man to the hospital with serious injuries. The crash happened at 103rd Street and NW 2nd Avenue in Miami.
According to officials, the crash happened at the intersection of 103rd Street and Northwest Second Avenue.
The driver of a pickup truck disregarded the traffic signals at an intersection and collided with the motorcyclist. The crash threw the motorcyclist off his bike some distance several feet away from the intersection. Even though he wore his helmet, he sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
The driver of the truck was not hurt in the crash.
Officials say the crash remains under investigation. The details of the individuals involved in the crash have not been released by the authorities. Emergency crews sealed the area while the investigation was being conducted.
