Miami Police Car Struck A Bicyclist On Northwest 12th Avenue

According to the Miami Police Department, a bicyclist was struck by a Miami police car at an intersection of Northwest 12th Avenue.

According to Officer Kiara Delva said, that the Traffic Crash Investigations Unit opened an investigation into the crash.

She reportedly said, the police car was being operated by a police sergeant who was not immediately identified. The crash occurred at the intersection of Northwest 12th Avenue and Northwest 36th Street.

Delva reported that the cyclist has been transported to North Shore Hospital via Miami Fire Rescue where he was listed in stable condition.

The identity of the driver of the Miami police car has not been made public at the time this report was compiled. The cause of the crash has also not been determined as investigation is still ongoing.
