Miami Police said two people were injured following an accident involving two vehicles on Biscayne Boulevard.

A 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe was driving southbound on Truman Parkway when the accident occurred. Police said a Honda was in front of the Tahoe  and suddenly stopped and started driving in reverse. The Chevrolet which was approaching, sighted the oncoming vehicle late and couldn’t avoid crashing into it.

The Tahoe drove into a roadside curb while trying to avoid the vehicle and overturned. The 27-year-old male driver of the Tahoe and his 30-year-old passenger injured, police said. They were treated at the scene and later transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

It was reported that the 46-year-old woman driving Honda was not injured and remained at the scene.
