Male Teenager in Critical Condition Following a One-Way Accident on Eller Drive

A car crash involving a police officer has left a male teenager unconscious and several others injured on Eller Road, EMS said.

The accident happened at Eller Road. The accident began when a 25-year-old man allegedly drove a Toyota car in the wrong direction on a one-way street. Subsequently, the Toyota reportedly collided with a police cruiser heading east in the westbound lanes of Eller Road. Both vehicles suffered extensive damage due to the impact of the accident.

The two occupants of the Toyota car were the driver and his brother, a 17-year-old male passenger. When first responders arrived, they found the 17-year-old boy in a critical condition. Other victims of the accident included the driver of a third car that rear-ended the police cruiser. Consequently, the driver of the third car and the police officer sustained injuries as well.

EMS crews arrived on the scene within minutes to tend to the victims. They transported all the victims to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Presently, officials have not released the identities of the victims. Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
