Jose Reyes Rosales, A 22-Year-Old Motorcyclist, Dies In Crash On McGregor Blvd in Fort Myers

A 22-year-old motorcyclist has died just two days after he was involved in a serious crash on McGregor Boulevard.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, the victim was recently identified as Jose Reyes Rosales. He was reportedly traveling north on McGregor Blvd at the time of the incident.  Another vehicle nearby was attempting to make a left turn when they crashed into the motorcycle.

The driver of the other vehicle was cited at the crash site for violating the motorcyclist’s right of way. The 15 year old passenger in this other vehicle suffered minor injuries from the crash.

 The accident occurred near the intersection of Water Lane and McGregor Boulevard and caused a traffic disruption at the time of the crash.

A thorough investigation has ensued to determine the exact cause of the crash. No further details have been released by the authorities.  The identity of the other driver is still unknown to the public at the time of this report.
