Jeep Rear-Ended Chevy on Golden Gate Parkway; Two Severely Injured

Police reported that a 39-year-old man sustained severe injuries in a two-vehicle accident on Golden Gate Parkway.

According to the police, the victim was eastbound on Golden Gate Parkway in a 2010 Chevrolet 3500 when the accident occurred. The spokesperson for the police said he drove past a 2012 Jeep Wrangler driven by a 44-year-old man. Subsequently, the Jeep rear-ended the Chevy, which made the Chevy veer off over the left side of the roadway. Then, the Chevy reportedly rolled over after hitting the roadside guardrail.

The Chevrolet driver and his 25-year-old female passenger were severely injured as a result of the accident. The Wrangler driver and his passenger were not injured in the accident.

EMS arrived promptly at the site of the crash to rescue the occupants of the Chevy, authorities said. Paramedics transported them to a nearby hospital.

The accident is currently under investigation by the police department.
