Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported a crash on Martin Luther King Blvd

JSO Bulletin:  Accident on Martin Luther King Blvd that left the driver of a vehicle critically injured.

According to the news release, the driver of a Honda Accord was traveling northbound on MLK Blvd when another driver, traveling southbound, failed to stop at a red light and crashed into the Honda Accord that was trying to make a turn.  The Honda turned on its side near the McDonalds restaurant on the side near the drive through. 

The driver of the Honda suffered serious injuries in the crash.

Upon arrival, EMS administered first aid to the victim and then transported him to the hospital. The other driver involved in the crash sustained minor injuries and EMS treated the driver at the scene.

The crash remains an active investigation. Authorities have yet to release any additional details or information.
