According to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office’s report, Heckscher Drive was closed down for hours while police cleared wreckage after a four-car accident that led to casualties.
Four vehicles crashed near the Sisters Creek Bridge on Heckscher Drive causing Jacksonville Sheriff’s officers to shut down the driveway for a couple of hours.
According to the report, witnesses said at least three people were injured in the crash that was caused when a car sideswiped another car causing a chain reaction crash. This chain reaction accident involved a Camero, a Corolla, an Elantra and a red pickup.
There is still no information on the condition of those injured in the crash or the names of the people involved. Likewise, what caused the car that began the chain reaction crash to sideswipe another car has not yet been confirmed by the authorities.
After several hours, the road reopened after causing quite a traffic backup on Heckscher Drive.
