Injuries Following A Bruce Herd Lane Accident; Car Stuck In The Woods

Police stated that a family of three were involved in a severe accident while traveling westbound on Bruce Herd Lane in Fort Myers.

A 2010 Toyota Camry was found stuck in the woods off Bruce Herd Lane. A police spokesman confirmed that a call came in reporting an accident on Bruce Herd Lane.

A witness reported that the driver was probably distracted and therefore lost control of the vehicle. Police also reported that what actually happened that made him swerve off suddenly has not been determined.

As reported, EMS was at the scene of the accident administering medical care. The woman that drove the car was unconscious and her passengers immobile when the officials arrived.

These victims were transported to the city hospital. They had sustained internal injuries that needed urgent medical attention, police added.

The authorities reported that the cause of the crash still remains unknown. The crash is still being investigated.
