Report says Miami EMS crews found shattered glass and twisted metal when responding to a severe accident along eastbound Northwest 62nd Street.
According to the report, the victims in an SUV say the driver of a pickup truck ran them off Northwest 62nd Street. It was reported that the driver of the pickup was speeding and weaving in and out of traffic.
They further say the truck clipped the back of their Ford Escape, which caused their mini-SUV to spin out of control and land in the grass median. It was reported that the couple and their dog appeared to be okay, even though the female passenger said she may have injured her back.
The damage was much worse for the truck that hit them. It was reported that upon impact, the truck lost control and went off the road, hit a tree then came to a stop at the edge of a creek.
Report says a man who was driving and a child appeared to be unconscious.
An officer at the scene said one person was transported to the hospital but authorities would not confirm how many people were in the truck.
The names of those involved in the crash have not been released.
