Head-On Collision On Main Highway Critically Injured A Motorcyclist

Report says a motorcycle rider was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after colliding with a car on Main Highway.

It was also reported that the driver of the motorcycle was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies say the car was driving north on Main Highway when it crashed head-on into a southbound motorcycle. It is not known if the car had a mechanical fault or it was consequential to the driver’s action.

Report says both the driver of the car and the motorcyclist were taken to area hospital, however, the driver’s injuries were not life-threatening.

It was reported that Miami Police department officers closed Main Highway at Royal Road while police investigated the accident.

The names of those involved in the crash have not yet been released. Other details about the cause of the accident has also not been released.
