According to the report, a woman was killed by a driver who was distracted while driving on Brickell Avenue near Downtown Miami.
It was reported that the accident sent at least six people to the hospital which includes a victim with a critical injury. The woman was identified as a 43-year-old woman. The woman was with at least 13 bicyclists riding along Brickell Avenue near Downtown Miami when the accident occurred.
It was reported that paramedics transported six victims to a nearby hospital. The youngest victim, who is 17-years-old, reportedly suffered a scraped knee.
Miami Police said it is believed that the driver who hit the group was distracted. The female driver stayed at the scene and was reportedly cooperative.
A spokesman for the Miami Police said speed, alcohol or drugs are not believed to be a factor.
The crash is still under investigation.
