Drunk driver arrested for a crash that happened on Oakland Park Blvd in Ft. Lauderdale.

Authorities confirm four people were hospitalized after the crash. The four people were injured after the man backed his car out onto the roadway and struck an moving car.  Report says he backed his Porsche 911 onto the road and failed to see the oncoming car.  The oncoming car had a driver and 3 passengers inside and all were injured.

He fled the scene but police were able to locate him a half-mile away and he was arrested on a DUI charge and leaving the scene of an accident. The four injured victims were taken to the hospital. Report says none of the injures were considered life threatening. 

Alcohol was a factor in the crash, according to the authorities. No other details were immediately released by the officials.
