Four Injured In I-95 Express Accident In Miami

According to Miami Police, a Chevrolet was struck by a semi-truck on I-95 Express resulting in life-threatening injuries.

The report says the accident happened on I-95 Express, near FL-944. It was reported that the driver of the semi-truck sideswiped a 2010 Chevrolet Aveo driven by a 36-year-old woman.

According to a witness, the semi-truck driver moved out of his lane at a high rate of speed. The truck consequently crashed into the Chevy in the process. The witness further said the crash made the woman  swerve uncontrollably causing her to crash into the guardrail, police said.

The driver of the Chevy and three passengers were severely injured. EMS arrived at the scene of the accident to respond to the injured victims. The people involved in the accident were transported to a nearby hospital. The truck driver did not sustain any injury.

Police are investigating the crash. No charges have been filed at the time of this report.
