Four Injured In An Accident On I-95 In Fort Lauderdale a Chevrolet was struck by a semi-truck by the side, resulting into four life-threatening injuries on I-95, near Northwest 19th Street, Fort Lauderdale.

Fort Lauderdale Police said a Chevrolet was struck by a semi-truck, resulting in life-threatening injuries on I-95. 

According to the police, the accident happened on I-95 near Northwest 19th Street. It was reported that the driver of the semi-truck sideswiped the oncoming 2010 Chevrolet Aveo driven by a 36-year-old woman.

It was reported by a witness that the semi-truck swerved out of his lane at a high rate of speed. The truck crashed the Chevy. The witness further said this initial crash apparently destabilized cause the woman lose control and crash on the side of the road, police said.

The driver of the Chevy and the three passengers were severely injured. EMS arrived at the scene of the accident to respond to the injured victims. The people involved in the accident were transported to a nearby hospital. The truck driver did not sustain any injuries.

Police are investigating the crash accident. No charge has been filed yet.
