EMS says that all the westbound lanes of FL-202 were shut down due to an accident that involved three vehicles.
According to a report, three vehicles were involved in the crash at San Pareil along FL-202. Police did not give an official statement saying who was at fault in the accident or how it happened, and they are currently investigating the incident to find out what was the actual cause of the crash.
Eyewitnesses say several people were injured in the pileup collision. JFRD arrived at the scene of the accident soon after it happened to administer on-site first aid to the injured victims in the incident. Emergency crews reported that multiple people were injured and transported to the nearby hospital. Officials did not give an exact number of injured victims in the crash and were seen questioning several of the people involved in the accident.
The road was shut down until road crews were finished clearing the roadways of debris and wreckage from the accident. The incident remains under review by authorities and no further information has been released about the identities and conditions of the victims.
