Five Seriously Injured After A US-23 3-Car Accident

A 38-year-old woman drove her Subaru SUV into a wrong way on US-23, causing a three-car accident, police said.

Emergency Medical Service arrived at the area of the accident shortly after the accident happened. According to a crew member, the drivers of the first two cars involved, are in traumatic condition. Each of these cars has a passenger, who also sustained severe injuries. Crew added that the driver of the third car is the sole occupant and he sustained injuries also.

According to the police, the wrong-way accident happened along US-23. The SUV driver drove into the opposite lane and collided with a car. These two cars crashed into another car before coming to a standstill.

An eyewitness, who was driving behind the SUV said the crash happened so briskly. She also said that SUV struck the oncoming car and another ongoing car rammed into the crash scene headlong.

All the victim of the accident was taken to a nearby hospital while police is still investigating the crash. No charge has been filed yet.
