Fort Myers Police Department is investigating a fiery car accident. The accident happened on Champion Ring Road near Warrior Way.
Police said, the driver of a Honda was traveling south while a Dodge pickup truck was traveling south on Champion Ring Road. The Dodge slowed to make a left turn onto Warrior Way from Champion Ring Road. The driver took too wide of a turn and his truck collided with the oncoming Honda in the process, police added.
Officials say the driver and front seat passenger in the Honda were seriously injured. The third occupant, a backseat passenger, was found in critical condition having sustained severe internal injuries, EMS reported. The three occupants of the Honda were transported to the nearest Hospital.
The two occupants of the Dodge pickup truck also sustained serious injuries and were transported to the same Hospital by EMS.
This accident remains under the investigation of Fort Myers Police Department.
