Family of Three Hospitalized Following A Severe Rattlesnake Hammock Road Accident

A family of three were involved in a severe accident while traveling westbound on Rattlesnake Hammock Road, in South Naples, police said.

A 2010 Toyota Camry was found stuck in the wood off Rattlesnake Hammock Road. Police spokesman confirmed that a call came in, reporting an accident on Rattlesnake Hammock Road.

A witness reportedly said the drive was probably distracted and therefore lost control of the vehicle. He also said the accident was very unusual. Police also reported that what actually happened that made him swerve off suddenly has not been determined.

As reported, EMS was sighted at the site of the accident, administering medical care. The woman that drove the car is unconscious and her passengers, immobile when the officials arrived.

These victims were transported to the city Hospital after being resuscitated. They had sustained internal injuries which would need urgent medical attention, police added.

The authorities reported that the cause of the crash still remain unknown. The crash is still being investigated.
