Elderly Woman Injured In Crash On Yorkshire Lane In Fort Myers

An elderly woman, who is yet to be identified, was injured in a crash on Yorkshire Lane in Fort Myers.

The Police said they had received a call about a crash on Yorkshire Lane to which they had responded by dispatching a police cruiser. 

The crash happened when the driver of a red Toyota Corolla drove his car into the elderly woman’s car at the intersection. Authorities believe the driver of the Corolla might have had a medical issue.

Emergency first responders were present at the scene of the crash and transported the elderly woman to the hospital for treatment.  She had sustained serious injuries.

The driver of the Toyota Corolla was not injured but was still transported to the hospital to be evaluated for the medical condition that could have caused the crash.

A full investigation is ongoing.
